State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Manatees Volleyball team invites fans to attend a tournament from 1- 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23 – 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, in Hal Chasey Gymnasium, to raise funds for Snooty the Manatee and his friends.
The fundraiser, “Volley for Snooty,” will benefit the South Florida Museum in Bradenton, which is home to Snooty and his friends. Funds raised at the tournament will be matched by donors participating in the “Ripple Effect for Manatees” campaign.
Six teams participating in the tournament include SCF, Iowa Western Community College, Polk State College, Brevard College, College of Central Florida and Florida College.
