State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present an adaptation of Aristophanes’ “Women in Power” at 8 p.m., Nov. 18-19, 21-22, and 25-26, in the David S. and Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 11 West. A matinee performance is scheduled at 2 p.m. on Nov. 20.
This new adaptation contains mature subject matter, and this naughty, bawdy musical is not recommended for children.
General admission is $10. Tickets are $5 for SCF students and employees. Tickets will be on sale in the Neel Performing Arts Center box office, which is open 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on weekdays and one hour before each performance. For more information, call 941-752-5252.
