Come out and enjoy the Manatee Players production of "Hairspray" based on the hit movie and award winning Broadway musical. The stage is set in 1962, Baltimore where teenager Tracy Turnblad, played by Kyle Ann Lacertosa, finds sudden fame on a popular television show, that lands her in a series of antics and racially charged obstacles. The Players will perform a variety of songs from the classic musical such as, "You can't Stop The Beat", "Without Love", "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now", and "Welcome to the '60s". The production runs through Dec. 29th, with the following showtimes; Tue-Thu, 7:30pm, Fri-Sat, 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm.
