Fatal Shooting Under Investigation In Bradenton: Police

A man was shot in front of a Bradenton home in the 700 block of 17th Street Court E. on Sunday night, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — Officers are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Sunday night that happened Friday night in Bradenton, authorities said.

A man in his fifties was shot in front of a home in the 700 block of 17th Street Court E. around 7 p.m., according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.

The victim was found when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area. Despite life-saving measures from first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators are working to identify the victim and will release more information when it’s available.

Detectives ask that any witnesses to the shooting come forward with any information they have.
