Find Your Treasure at SCF Club Fundraiser

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Club at SCF will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 2 in the parking lot in front of Building 28

In search of treasure? The Occupational Therapy Assistant Club at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 2 in the parking lot in front of Building 28 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. The sale is open to the public.

Students will sell their once-treasured possessions – and that could be anything from clothing to sports equipment – to raise money for participation in the Florida Occupational Therapy Association conference in the fall. Students will have an opportunity to present their work at the conference and to attend presentations on employment, fieldwork and preparing for exams. Proceeds also will help pay for an end-of-year awards ceremony.

To donate to the fundraising event or for more information, contact Norma Davies in Health Professions at DaviesN@SCF.edu or 941-752-5346.
