FL Pest Control Scam Suspect Faces Charges: Bradenton Police
A Pompano Beach man suspected of a Bradenton pest control scam is being held at the Escambia County Jail, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — A Pompano Beach man who faces charges related to a pest-control scam is believed to have committed crimes spanning several Florida communities, including Bradenton, authorities said.
Sean Frank, 31, was charged with burglary to an occupied dwelling and scheming to defraud — charges that have been enhanced due to the age of the victims — according to a news release from Bradenton Police Department. He’s currently being held at the Escambia County Jail.
On the morning of Feb. 24, a victim allowed Frank and another suspect, who claimed they were pest control employees, into her home at River Oaks Condominiums. After they left, she noticed that cash, jewelry and other items had been stolen, police said.

Detectives are investigating two similar burglaries in Bradenton’s Ironwood/Pinebrook neighborhood, which also happened Feb. 24. All burglaries took place between 9 a.m. and noon that day.
