Florida's Tiny Bus Bandit at It Again
This time the 12-year-old is in trouble for stealing a neighbor's truck.

Fresh out of juvenile detention and still wearing an ankle monitor, the 12-year-old Springfield boy accused of stealing two school buses over the course of two months is at it again.
This time the boy is accused of jacking his neighbor’s truck in an attempt to leave the state, according to The News Herald. The paper says the boy tried to steal his mother’s car Wednesday night, but failed and caused hundreds of dollars in damage in the process. When that theft went south, the boy took the neighbor’s truck instead.
Police caught up with him at a home in Campbellton, where they discovered he’d cut off his ankle bracelet. He now faces three new felony charges on top of those from earlier this summer.

The boy made national headlines earlier this summer for stealing two buses over the course of several weeks and taking them on joyrides. His last arrest was in mid-July after he was accused of taking a Bay District Schools bus on a 75-mile trip to Franklin County.
