Health Care Providers Can Learn Basic Life Support at SCF

SCF will offer a Basic Life Support class for health care providers and anyone who wants to learn these skills Saturday March 17.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer a Basic Life Support class for health care providers and anyone who wants to learn these skills from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday March 17, Building 29, Room 157 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. The cost is $70.

The class, designed specifically for health care professionals, will focus on life support and CPR. It is taught using a combination of lecture, video and hands-on mannequin demonstrations and practice. Successful students will earn their two-year CPR certification card. This is a hands-on lesson, so participants should dress comfortably.
