Hell Of A Party At Ace's
GoGo dancers are back at Cellar Bar, Get Down Downtown and more this weekend in Bradenton.
There’s gonna be some hell raisin’ this Saturday at , 4343 Palma Sola Blvd.
Bradenton’s most popular live music venue is hosting the Hillbilly Hellfest all day Saturday from 2 p.m. until 2 a.m., with live music from 15 bands cranking out everything from rock to rockabilly to country. There's even burlesque, a car and bike show, food and, of course, drinks.
Tickets are $15 and available at Ace’s or by calling 800-594-8499. If you already have a ticket or manage to get one early, there’s live music from Have Gun Will Travel at 9 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $10 for that concert, but anyone with Hellfest tickets gets in half price.

- Old Main Street is alive tonight with the monthly Get Down Downtown street party from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Live music from Koko Ray & The Soul Providers starts around 6 p.m. Check out the various vendors lining both sides of the historic downtown street with food from local restaurants and beyond, arts, crafts and other treasures. The live music outdoors cuts off at 10 p.m. but there’s always entertainment to be found in one of the many bars or pubs on Old Main Street. By the way, Old Main Street between Manatee and 4th Avenues west will close to vehicular traffic at around 2:30 p.m. that day, so plan accordingly.
- , 2907 Cortez Rd., has house band Faultline playing Friday night from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Get there early for happy hour specials from 8 a.m. until noon and again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Ask your bartender about specials for the day.
- Back by popular demand! , 4307 26th St. W., has brought back its GoGo dancers for Friday and Saturday night. The weekends don’t get much hotter at this place as professional dancers shake to the music of the latest club hits from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. "Check in" through Facebook between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday or Saturday night and get your first drink for free. The Cellar is a classy place and it asks its patrons the same respect with their style of dress. No biker gear, cutoffs, anything resembling gang attire. If you aren’t sure if what you’re wearing is acceptable, give them a call at 753-1007.
- , 450 Old Main St., has afternoon happy hours with $1.75 domestic drafts, $2 wells, and $3.25 wines. Not to mention one of the best pizzas in town.
- The best deal in town is at , 5131 14th St. W., starting at 7 p.m. Sunday. A $10 cover gets you access to buffet of delicious soul food. Dine in, have a few drinks and enjoy live music from former Pro Bowler and recent Florida Hall of Fame inductee Henry Lawrence and his band. Longtime bluesman Big Jesse also is known to make guest appearances at A Touch of Class on Sunday nights.
