“It is important to recognize us during school counselor week because we are the behind-the-scenes project of everything going on at LRHS. For example, during class change we took part in each and every student’s schedule. We make a lot of things happen that people aren’t aware of and that’s why we are recognized this week.”
The counselors say they appreciate the opportunities the job offers.
“The best thing about being an LRHS counselor is working with seriously motivated kids who go on to do incredible things and kids who also keep us on our toes and challenge us.”
LRHS Principal Dustin Dahlquist praised the counselors.
“Our counselors do an outstanding job,” he said. “We would not enjoy near the success we’ve had over the years without their priceless efforts.”
