Throughout this semester, social studies teachers on campus will receive instruction to spread information about the topic to Mustangs of LRHS.
The program’s purpose is to inform and empower teens and adults with ways to reduce, recognize, and respond to certain situations that people are put on a daily basis.

“Bullying, cyberbullying, all types of abuse, relationship abuse, digital dangers, exploitations, and human trafficking”, stated by MBF: Teen Safety Matters are all ways teens and adults today can be affected negatively.
This program was developed so schools have an effective organization which is easy to implement.
“Teen Safety Matters will hopefully help students think twice about making the right choices on (and off) campus”, Bellantonio added.
Flyers and bookmarks will be hung around and given out across campus. The goal is to encourage students to choose and identify a safe adult who one can come to for protection.
