Lakewood Ranch High School schedules new student orientations

After receiving its sixth consecutive "A" grade from the state, the school is ready to welcome new students

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- On the heels of its sixth straight "A" grade, Bradenton's Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) is ready to start the new school year.

LRHS will host its annual New Student Orientations on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

There will be two presentations available in the LRHS auditorium. One will be at 9 a.m. and the other at 6 p.m. Each will last between 50-55 minutes. Both sessions will cover the same information.

This event is voluntary, but new students and family are encouraged to attend to receive information that will help them prepare for the upcoming school year.

This includes information about school extra-curriculars, athletics, schedules, school safety, drop-off/pickup procedures, and much more.

LRHS Assistant Principal Thomas Bellantonio also said that there will be additional activities that families can take advantage of while on campus.

“There will be many school clubs at tables with information throughout the courtyard. Families may tour the grounds and see the layout of the campus,” said Bellantonio.

Schedules will not be available during orientation sessions.
