Junior Christina Rosabal, who played in the Chamber Orchestra, said, “It was exciting and I got to play with my friends. It’s a great idea and all of the arts departments got to have their time to shine.”
LRHS band director Ron Lambert the night was a success.
“Even though this is our second year doing the art show it was better because the students in each program stayed and watched each other instead of coming and doing their part and leaving, so it was more successful and they all did great,” he said.

Terry Thompson, the LRHS art teacher who helped coordinate the event, said, “I definitely consider it a success and it was nice to see so many kids clapping and responding to the showcases.”
The LRHS Key Club held a bake sale at the event featuring various pastries and breads, many donated by Panera Bread.
“It was a very good experience and I liked doing it. The bake sale was very successful and we ran out of many of our products,” said junior Erika Rojas, president of Key Club.
The exhibition featured a gift card raffle for different restaurants and the option for certain art pieces to be taken in exchange for a donation.
