Lakewood Ranch Native Competes In 'Jeopardy's' College Contest

Hannah Sage of Lakewood Ranch is among 15 college students competing in the CBS game show's annual college championship,

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL – Friends and family will be rooting for Lakewood Ranch resident Hannah Sage Tuesday, April 17, as she continues her quest to win the $100,000 grand prize on the television game show, “Jeopardy.”

Sage is among 15 college students competing in the CBS game show’s annual college championship, a two-week tournament that ends April 20

Sage, a graduate of Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School in Bradenton, is a sophomore at the University of Central Florida.

During her appearance on the show hosted by Alex Trebek last week, Sage won $17,000 and advanced to the next round. She will compete in the semifinals on the “Jeopardy” episode airing locally Tuesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m.

A longtime “Jeopardy” fan, Sage was a member of Saint Stephen’s academic team, which won a state championship her senior year. She is now a member of UCF’s Quiz Bowl Team.
