(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) - Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) senior Byron Simon began a clothing and cosmetics brand and continues to grow his small business.

Simon’s company Southernly Simon has turned a dream into a reality for the last three years.
Simon has created designs and products for each new collection he releases.

“I found myself looking for an outlet to express my emotions but also be productive, I had created a bunch of designs for clothing and thought nothing of it.

“Once people started telling me how much they loved them (the designs) I realized maybe I had hit a gold mine,” said Simon.

Simon has worked hard to build the business he has now and had to prove how much he really wanted it.

Through his designs, he became a voice for all types of people and gave them the ability to express themselves.

Simon released a new collection on August 30.
