Last Bells For Tampa Bay Area Schools Will Ring Soon

TAMPA BAY, FL — Longer days, balmy temperatures and lots of sunshine can only mean that summer is almost here. As the clock ticks down on the final days of the 2015-16 school year, a lot of parents may have misplaced those calendars with important dates that were sent out in the fall.

To help out, we’ve rounded up a listing of important end-of-year dates from school districts around the Tampa Bay area. Here are the big days to keep in mind as the school year comes to a close in:

Manatee County

• Memorial Day – Monday, May 30 is a school holiday
• Early Release Days – June 7-9
• Last Day of School – June 9
• 1st Day of School in 2016-17 – Aug. 10

Sarasota County

• Memorial Day – Monday, May 30 is a school holiday
• Last Day of School – June 3
• 1st Day of School in 2016-17 – Aug. 22

Pinellas County

• Memorial Day – Monday, May 30 is a school holiday
• Last Day of School – June 7
• 1st Day of School in 2016-17 – Aug. 10

Hillsborough County

• Memorial Day – Monday, May 30 is a school holiday
• Last Day of School – June 10
• 1st Day of School in 2016-17 – Aug. 10

Pasco County

• Seniors’ Last Day – May 25
• Memorial Day – Monday, May 30 is a school holiday
• Last Day of School – June 8
• 1st Day of School in 2016-17 – Aug. 15
