(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) senior Olivia Sharkoski has signed and committed to Hood College in Maryland to play NCAA D3 Women’s ice hockey.

Olivia Sharkoski plays forward center in hockey for the Nashville Junior Predators.

Sharkoski chose Hood College because of the wonderful atmosphere she was in when she visited.

Sharkosi said, “It is everything I want in a college.”

Sharkoski explained that the coaches there know what they want and how to run the program. She loves the environment and culture of Hood College.

Sharkoski said, “I am very excited to meet new people.” She is also nervous about the big move to Maryland but is moving with a few friends, so it is less nerve wracking for her.

Sharkoski’s friends and family are extremely proud of her and this big accomplishment.
