Local high school teachers share prom pix from the past

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS) TV Production teacher Bryon Stedman is collecting old prom photos from school staff and teachers.

Stedman said the idea came from LRHS science teacher and Junior Advisory Board (JAB) Adviser Tana Phelps. JAB organizes the annual LRHS prom.

Stedman said the images will be shown on the LRHS TV news show.

“The idea being we set them to music or showcase them another way on the news and our social media pages. So, we put it out there during a faculty meeting,” said Stedman.

He’s looking forward to students’ reaction, and so far, the staff and faculty have loved what they put together.

Stedman said, “A few more photos have come in. So, we are planning a ‘director's cut’ if you will be adding those late pics to the mix.”
