Look For Sheepshead By Cannon's Marina Buoy

Kim Schearer from reported there are still some sheepshead up to 18 inches being caught by the buoy in front of Cannon's Marina.

Also, she said pompano and mangrove snapper are being caught by the Cortez Bridge.  Palma Sola Bay produced some redfish up to 25 inches, trout and some nice catch-and-release snook to 24 inches, she said.

"Live shrimp is still the best bait, but the Gotcha lures are working well on the mackerel," she said. "Shiners are starting to make an appearance but they don't seem to be pooling yet where netting them is easy."
