Man Fatally Shot Ex-Girlfriend At Medical Office: Bradenton Police
The man also shot a witness to the murder, who remains hospitalized, Bradenton police said.
BRADENTON, FL — A man was arrested for fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend at a Bradenton medical office Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Keith Roberts, Jr., 29, was charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, Bradenton police said.
Roberts entered a suite of offices in the 5200 block of 4th Avenue Circle East, and shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, Myshaela Burnham, 29.

He then turned his gun on an office employee who witnessed the homicide, police said. She remains hospitalized, and her name is not being released at this time.
After 911 callers described a car seen leaving the scene, Bradenton police determined it was traveling toward the Desoto Bridge.

With the help of the Manatee County Sheriff's Office and the Palmetto Police Department, Roberts was taken into custody in Palmetto within 25 minutes of the shooting.
He agreed to be interviewed by Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit detectives and was arrested just before 6 p.m.
