Suspect Identified in Saturday Morning Shooting
A warrant has been issued for the man's arrest.
BRADENTON, FL – A 27-year-old man is dead following a Saturday morning shooting on 33rd Avenue East.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in the 1000 block around 11:45 a.m. Witnesses told deputies that four men in a black Toyota Camry fled from the area after firing shots.
Kevin McCants was killed as a result of the shooting, the sheriff’s office said.

Detectives have connected Robert Eugene Brewer, 20, with the shooting. A warrant for Brewer’s arrest on second-degree murder charges has been issued. Brewer, the agency wrote in an email to media, should be considered armed and dangerous.
