Man Stabbed During Argument In Bradenton: Manatee County Sheriff

After stabbing another man in Bradenton Friday night, a 33-year-old was charged with attempted murder, the sheriff's office said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 33-year-old faces charges after stabbing another man during a fight at a Bradenton home Friday night, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.

An argument broke out between Justin Claudio and another 33-year-old man around 10 p.m. at the home, which is located on 9th Street Ct. E., the agency said.

When the dispute escalated into a physical attack, Claudio stabbed the victim in his torso and left arm with a knife, MCSO said.

Deputies and Manatee County EMS responded to the home. The victim, whose name is being withheld under Marsy’s Law, was brought to Blake Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

Claudio was found Sunday in the 6600 block of 14th Street West and booked into the Manatee County Jail. He was charged with attempted murder, according to MCSO.

The victim was treated for his wounds and released from the hospital.
