“Team managers record practices and games, braid players hair, inflate and chase after balls during practice. They are key to keeping practice running smoothly,” she said.

Sophomore member Sophie Hugues said, “Abigail helps with both the JV and varsity teams. She’s always in a positive mood and is very supportive of the team. She’s doing a good job.”

Peterson is excited for the opportunity to help the team and become even closer to the players.

“I’ve played club volleyball before so I already have a pretty good idea of what the players will need from me,” said Peterson.

“I was already friends with a lot of the girls on the team before I became team manager, so I’m excited to be able to see them more. I think I’m a good fit for team manager because we all get along already,” she continued.
