Manatee County Offices To Close For Independence Day
Manatee County government offices will be closed Wednesday, July 4 to observe Independence Day.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL -- Manatee County government offices will be closed Wednesday, July 4 to observe Independence Day.
All trash, recycling and yard waste collections for the week will be postponed one day from Wednesday through Saturday for residents in unincorporated Manatee.
Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public. Manatee County-owned golf courses will be open. The G.T. Bray Recreation Center and G.T. Bray Skate Park will be closed. Blackstone Skate Park will be open.

Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves will remain open.
Manatee County’s public libraries will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 and will reopen Thursday, July 5.

Only the Trolley and Beach Express service will operate on July 4. Fixed route, para-transit service and the Longboat Key Shuttle service will resume July 5.
Bradenton City Hall will be closed Wednesday, July 4.
The Green Bridge (S.R. 45) will be closed north and south from 9 to 10 p.m. during the downtown fireworks show.
Traffic will be detoured off 9th Street West (S.R. 45) east onto 6th Avenue and west to Route 41/301 (DeSoto Bridge.) The 30-minute fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:15 on Wednesday, July 4. Click here to see detailed detour maps.
There will be no solid waste pickup Wednesday, July 4, in the city of Palmetto.
