Manatee Libraries Close Temporarily Due To COVID-19 Spread

BRADENTON, FL—One day after resuming normal business hours, the Manatee Libraries have closed temporarily "to help prevent the spread of COVID-19."

All library locations are closed August 13-23, according to an announcement on the library website.

In a Facebook post, the Manatee County government said a "significant spike in COVID cases" recently prompted the close.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report a high level of community COVID-19 transmission across Florida.
