Marauders Announce Radio Coverage, TV Show
All 140 games will air on 1280 FM out of Sarasota, and METV will air a monthly half-hour show called Marauders Magazine.

The Bradenton Marauders, the high Single-A minor league affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will have all 140 games of the 2011 season broadcast on the radio, the team announced Monday.
In addition, the Marauders Magazine, a monthly half-hour program, will air on Manatee Educational Television.
WTMY 1280 AM, “The Talk Station,” will serve as the team’s broadcast home. The station is the No. 1-rated talk station in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

“This is the next big step in extending Marauders baseball to fans across the area,” said Trevor Gooby, the Pittsburgh Pirates' senior director of Florida operations, in a news release. “We’re thrilled to begin our partnership with WTMY.”
The Marauders Magazine TV show will feature in-depth interviews with players, coaches and staff and dive deep into excitement and rigors of a season in the minor leagues. The program intends to take a look at baseball from all perspectives, including that of the fan, the club said. The first episode is set to air in March.
