Marauders To Give Manatee Baseball Team Special Sendoff

The Manatee High baseball team is getting a sendoff from the pros before it heads off to the state final four.

The Hurricanes will be honored by the Bradenton Marauders before Monday's game at , the team announced. The Marauders will present each player with a "special item to assist them on their trip" . The Manatee squad will be in uniform and introduced around 6:45 p.m. before the Marauders' 7 p.m. game against Clearwater.

Manatee advanced to the Class 5A state semifinals with . The Hurricanes face Lakeland at 5 p.m. Friday at Digital Domain Park in Port St. Lucie for a shot at the 5A state title game.
