Meet Fish Girl AKA Janet Flowers!

I would like to introduce an amazing artist, Janet Flowers A.K.A. Fish Girl. Her amazing work is currently on display at The Treasure Chest, Bradenton Florida.     

Janet began drawing and painting around the age of three or four, inspired by her mother's talent and love for art and her father's love for fish and animals. Painting an image begins in the mind and eye of the artist. The real work is one of noticing and appreciating, seeing things clearly and differently, and sharing that vision with others through art. She developed her vision and up-close perspective in order to bring the beauty of fish and animals to light in a fresh way. She loves to inspire and nourish pet lovers through the eyes of her work. It is Janet’s hope that the soul of her subjects are captured through their eyes. The best way to describe her work is… “Art with an Eye for Fish and Animals”.

Janet also creates shabby chic furniture and teaches shabby chic painting classes at The Treasure Chest. Janet produces the most amazing shabby chic furniture that only a true artist can do with a coastal flair like no other.
