Missing Teen Girl Sought In Manatee County: Palmetto Police

PALMETTO, FL — Investigators are asking the public for help in finding a missing 15-year-old girl, according to a Palmetto Police Department news release.

Aliya Freeman was last seen at Palmetto High School the morning of Sept. 6, the agency said. She left school on her own and isn’t thought to be in immediate danger.

She could be staying with friends or extended family in Bradenton.

Aliya is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and has brown eyes and long, braided hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and purple and silver crocs.
