Motorcyclist Hits Car Parked In Bradenton Driveway, Suffers Critical Injuries: FHP

A motorcyclist was critically injured after hitting an unoccupied car parked in a Bradenton driveway Friday, Florida Highway Patrol said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 44-year-old Bradenton man was critically injured Friday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle into a parked car, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

Around 5:45 p.m., the motorcyclist was traveling north on 19th Street East, just south of 34th Avenue East. At the time, the unoccupied car was parked in the driveway access of 3411 19th Street East in Bradenton.

The motorcyclist, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, traveled off the road, entering the driveway and colliding with the right side of the car, FHP said.

He was thrown from his motorcycle and brought to an area hospital in critical condition.
