“I never knew how much I’d enjoy teaching high school,” Culton explained. “Had this opportunity not presented itself, there would have always been a ‘what if’.”
Culton attended Georgia Southern University, majoring in Natural and Cultural Resource Management.
Growing up in Cocoa Beach and playing football at Manatee High School, Culton had already known the area and how the sports programs worked.
Culton explained just how hard and busy his life could get sometimes, but this past year as a high school teacher has loosened his schedule and given him the time to love the little things in what he does.
“My favorite part of teaching is pulling into school each morning. You never know what the day will bring,” he said, “I really believe that something good is going to happen every day.”
