(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- After former TV production teacher Bryon Stedman left Lakewood Ranch High School (LRHS), LRHS graduate Jessica Pellicone took his place.
Pellicone said she enjoys the job so far and is mainly focused on getting to know her students.

Pellicone said, “I wanted to become a TV Production teacher because I was working as a Media Specialist at Blackburn Elementary and one of my favorite parts of the day over there was running the morning announcements and helping the kids make films. I was so excited when I got the job and then I got nervous because I have such big shoes to fill.”

Pellicone hopes to be able to build a good report with the students and to help build up the program.
LRHS students welcomed Pellicone to Lakewood on Monday, April 2.
“I think Ms. Pellicone is really nice and she has adapted pretty well considering she came in fourth quarter. She also gets along with the other students because she is younger, so she can connect with the students more,” said junior Haley Kast.
