Bradenton Roofing Company’s Supply Yard Catches Fire Overnight Sunday: Fire Department
An outdoor fire broke out overnight Sunday at Manson Roofing Company's supply yard, the Bradenton Fire Department said.
BRADENTON, FL — Firefighters and other emergency responders from multiple local agencies responded to an outdoor fire at Manson Roofing Company’s Bradenton supply yard overnight Sunday, the Bradenton Fire Department shared on Facebook.
On their way to the fire, responding units saw a large column of smoke and flames in the sky coming from the property.
When they arrived at the supply yard at 807 24th Ave. West at 1:17 a.m., they found the fire had engulfed much of the commercial property, BFD wrote.

Firefighters used aerial ladders, as well as multiple hose lines and monitors to battle the blaze, which was brought under control at 4:51 a.m.
More than 30 fire personnel from Cedar Hammock Fire Control District, West Manatee Fire & Rescue, Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue and BFD responded to the fire.

Manatee County EMS, the Bradenton Police Department, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the Bradenton Emergency Communications Center and utility purveyors were also on the scene, BFD said.
Officials haven’t provided an estimate for damages to the property, yet.
The fire is under investigation by the Bradenton Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
