Overnight Vehicle Thefts, Burglaries Investigated: Bradenton Police
Multiple vehicles were broken into and stolen, including a Kia Forte and a Land Rover Discovery, overnight in Bradenton, police said.
BRADENTON, FL — A series of vehicle thefts and burglaries are under investigation, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
Multiple vehicles were broken into in and around the 4000 block of 59th Street W. overnight Friday. A 2017 beige Land Rover Discovery with the Florida license plate NWLS33 was also stolen from this area, the agency said.
There are three suspects involved in the vehicle theft and burglaries. All were wearing dark-colored hoodies, face coverings, long pants and blue latex gloves, the agency said.

Also overnight, a black 2020 four-door Kia Forte with the Florida license plate QKSJ26 was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of 15th Street E., according to police.
At this time investigators have not determined if the theft of the Kia is connected to the burglaries and vehicle theft in the 59th St. W. area.

Bradenton police remind residents of these crime-prevention tips:
- Always lock your vehicle.
- Do not leave valuables in plain view inside vehicles.
- Park in well-lit areas at night.
- Keep garage doors closed and locked at night.
- Be suspicious of anyone approaching vehicles or roaming neighborhoods.
