Passenger With 21 Warrants, Drugs Found During I-75 Traffic Stop: FHP

A Bradenton man with 21 outstanding warrants and a Land O'Lakes woman face drug charges after a Naples traffic stop, FL Highway Patrol said.

NAPLES, FL — A Land O’Lakes woman pulled over for a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Naples, and her passenger, a Bradenton man with 21 outstanding warrants, face multiple charges after drugs were found in the car, authorities said.

Troopers pulled over the car, driven by Yasmin Nicole Forester, 29, for a traffic violation around 1:30 p.m. at mile marker 98, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

During the traffic stop, troopers found three bottles of Xanax, totaling about 1,500 pills, and two grams of marijuana, the agency said.

They also identified her passenger as Jordan Michael Raysean Brown, 27, who has 21 outstanding warrants from three different counties. The warrants are for multiple crimes, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping with a firearm, domestic battery, criminal mischief and reckless driving, FHP said.

Forester was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of marijuana (under 20 grams).

Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of marijuana (under 20 grams), providing false identification to a law enforcement office and 21 out-of-county warrants for multiple offenses.

Both were booked into Collier County Jail.
