1. MammoLink Brick and Mortar Grand Opening! (thebradentontimes.com) — A new MammoLink breast imaging center is opening right here in Bradenton, offering 3D mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and fast results from fellowship-trained radiologists. On Saturday, October 17, they'll host a grand-opening celebration with complimentary screening mammograms, tours, and a chance to meet the breast-health team at their Manatee Avenue East location.
   

2. Manatee County puts $125 million toward stormwater, flood projects (mysuncoast.com) — Bradenton is slated to receive about $16 million for five stormwater and flood-control projects as part of a larger $125 million Manatee County recovery and mitigation package. County and city leaders say the money will target repeatedly flooded neighborhoods, upgrade aging drainage systems, and add new flood-prevention technology, while stressing that much more investment will still be needed in coming years.
   

3. Bradenton, FL Affordable Housing Advisory Committee — October 15, 2026 (meetingwatch.org) — Bradenton's Affordable Housing Advisory Committee is preparing for its October 15 meeting, and this tool lets you see what the board decided and when in the video. Residents can review site plan decisions, minutes, and reports in plain English, with direct links to official records for deeper follow-up.
   

4. ICTC Acquires Trinity Manufacturing Corporation (smttoday.com) — A Bradenton-based cable and wire harness maker, Trinity Manufacturing Corporation, has been acquired by Interconnect Cable Technologies Corporation, expanding ICTC's domestic manufacturing footprint. The deal keeps operations in Florida while boosting capacity to serve aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers, which could help sustain local jobs and future growth in Bradenton's manufacturing sector.
