• SCF, Manatee-Sarasota Launches New Cybersecurity Operations Degree (srqmagazine.com) — State College of Florida's Bradenton campus is launching a new Associate of Science degree in Cybersecurity Operations, aimed at filling a growing need for digital defense professionals in our area. With small class sizes, flexible full- and part-time options, and courses from ethical hacking to data forensics, the program is designed for both recent graduates and working adults across Bradenton and Manatee County.
   

• Bradenton Driver Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into Plaza (iheart.com) — A driver was hospitalized after crashing a car into Cortez Village Plaza on Cortez Road West in Bradenton, leading to a major emergency response and a nearby restaurant evacuation. No one inside the struck business or restaurant was hurt, and the driver's injuries are non-life-threatening. Bradenton police are still investigating what caused the vehicle to enter the building.
   

• 'It's a miracle I wasn't killed': Car plows through Bradenton wellness center with employee inside (tampabay28.com) — A Bradenton wellness center on Cortez Road West was heavily damaged when a car crashed through the storefront Sunday, narrowly missing an employee and several people inside. Nearby Sage Biscuit Cafe was evacuated, and an adjacent rehab center deemed potentially unsafe. The elderly driver and one woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries as Bradenton police and city inspectors continue their investigation.
