PatchCast: NFL Players Help Youth At Free Bradenton Football Clinic

Some towns might consider themselves lucky to have one of their local high schoolers go on to become an NFL cornerback.

The Bradenton area has three.

Mike Jenkins, Fabian Washington and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie all played for Manatee County high schools — Jenkins at Southeast, Washington at Bayshore, Rodgers-Cromartie at Lakewood Ranch.

All three made it to the pros as cornerbacks — Jenkins with the Dallas Cowboys, Washington with the Baltimore Ravens, Rodgers-Cromartie with the Arizona Cardinals.

And all three came back to their hometown in Bradenton over the weekend to who hope to someday follow these local celebrities' paths in getting an education and maybe someday making it to the NFL.
