State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), awarded 20 Physical Therapist Assistant pins to graduating students during a ceremony on May 1 at SCF’s 26 West Center, located at SCF Bradenton. The ceremony included welcoming remarks by Bruce Wassung, the Physical Therapy program manager, as well as student-led presentations orchestrated by graduate candidate Abigail Thompson, the Physical Therapist Assistant Club President.

The program graduates are now eligible for the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) board licensure examination. Over the past four years, 85-100% of graduates have passed the NPTE, a testament to the program’s quality and the students’ preparedness. Additionally, 100% of eligible graduates have secured employment in the field, showcasing the program’s success in preparing students for their careers.
