ORIOLES 8, PIRATES 2:

Starter Kevin Correa allowed four earned runs on seven hits in five innings as the Pittsburgh Pirates lost 8-2 to the Baltimore Orioles at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

Jason Jaramillo went 2-for-3 for the Pirates (8-11) and is now hitting .533 (8-for-15) this spring. Steve Pearce had a pair of doubles.

Pittsburgh's Scott Olsen made his spring training debut, giving up a solo home run to Nick Green in one inning of work.

Randy Winn and Jake Fox also hit solo homers for the Orioles (8-7-2).

UP NEXT (MARCH 15):

The Pirates have a rare off day Tuesday before returning to action at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays at McKechnie Field. Paul Maholm will start for Pittsburgh against Kyle Drabek. Jeff Karstens and Joel Hanrahan are also scheduled to pitch for the Pirates.
