PHILLIES 3, PIRATES 2:
Starter Brad Lincoln exited the game with a contusion after getting hit on his right forearm as the Pittsburgh Pirates dropped a 3-2 game to the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday in Clearwater.
Lincoln was struck by a line drive from Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins in the third inning. He had allowed one earned run on one hit through the first 2 2/3 innings against Philadelphia (14-8).

Rule 5 draft selection Josh Rodriguez went 2-for-3 for the Pirates (8-14) and is now hitting .350 (7-for-20) in 12 games this spring.

The Pirates host the Boston Red Sox at 1:05 p.m. today at . Kevin Correia is scheduled to start for Pittsburgh against Boston's Josh Beckett. Joel Hanrahan, Evan Meek and Daniel McCutchen are also expected to pitch for the Pirates.
