PIRATES 7, RED SOX 5:
John Bowker hit a two-run home run, and Kevin Correia picked up his first victory of the spring as the host Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Boston Red Sox 7-5 before 6,644 fans, the largest crowd ever to see a game at McKechnie Field.
The attendance surpassed the previous record of 6,602, set last weekend when the Pirates and Red Sox last met in Bradenton.

Correia scattered seven hits over five innings and struck out four for the Pirates (9-14). He also went 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs.
Josh Beckett took the loss for the Red Sox (12-12), dropping to 0-3 this spring.

UP NEXT (MARCH 20):
The Pirates visit the Houston Astros at 1:05 p.m. Sunday in Kissimmee. Charlie Morton is scheduled to start for Pittsburgh against Houston left-hander Ryan Rowland-Smith. Evan Meek, Mike Crotta and Chris Leroux are also expected to pitch for Pittsburgh.
