‘Possible Suicide’ Under Investigation In I-275 Rest Area: FHP
The Florida Highway Patrol said that it's investigating "a possible suicide" on I-275 in Manatee County.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Florida Highway Patrol is investigating “a possible suicide” in a rest area on Interstate 275 north on Thursday, according to a news release from the agency.
The incident happened at mile market 6 in Manatee County, FHP said.
The agency received calls that someone in a black Honda SUV parked at the rest stop appeared to be injured.

A trooper found an SUV matching the description in that area and the occupant was pronounced dead at the scene by Manatee County EMS, FHP said.
