Bait: Pinfish

Where: 140 feet of water depth offshore of Anna Maria Island

Quotable: Capt. Larry McGuire: “It was the biggest fish of his life, and he’s a native here in Florida. Him and some buddies drove in from Lakeland. It took him down into the rocks and then I took the rod and got it going again and two of us started working it. Then I handed the rod back to him so two of us were fighting it. We pulled it out of the rocks and he finished it.”
