How long have you been cooking? I have been cooking since I was 12. My father bought his first restaurant when I was 6 years old. By the time I turned 12, I was working in the kitchen as a prep cook. My grandmother, who is 92, said I was always being kicked out of the kitchen when I was a baby. I have always loved cooking. I am self-taught and feel like I'm doing things backwards but I am attending Kaiser University now studying culinary arts and I'm loving it!
Do you cook at home? Yes, I do all of the cooking for my wife and six kids.
What is your favorite comfort food? My own version of pizza that I fix for my family.
Other than your restaurant, where else do you like to eat in Bradenton? I have two favorite places: One is Papa Nicks for a nice Italian meal and for breakfast.
