Riverwalk Splash Pad Reopens Soon
Bradenton area kids should be able to cool off at the park's splash pad before the week comes to a close.
BRADENTON, FL — Bradenton area kids ready to cool off by splashing around at Riverwalk will be able to do so again very soon. The city has announced repairs to the attraction should get under way on Thursday.
As of Wednesday morning, the hope was to have the splash pad open for use by Friday, according to an email from city spokesman Tim McCann.
Riverwalk’s splash pad has been closed for use since last week. The pad was damaged by vandals, city officials said. The closing order was issued to prevent further damage to the attraction while allowing time for repairs.
