2 Cuffed For Suspected Prostitution Solicitation on N. Tamiami Trail

SARASOTA, FL – Two men from Sarasota and Cortez were arrested and their vehicles seized Tuesday in Sarasota following an undercover prostitution operation on North Tamiami Trail, according to police.

The Sarasota Police Department Street Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Narcotics Unit and the Patrol Division, conducted the operation targeting solicitation on the 4700 block of North Tamiami Trail

Arrested were Pablo Esteban-Diaz, 35 of Sarasota, and Joseph Mariotti, 54 of Cortez, on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution, the department said.

The vehicles were also seized under City Code 33-271, police said.
