SCF Communications and Marketing Hosts Design Intern

The Communications and Marketing department at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) has been working with Megan Stermer, a summer intern, who has spent her time working on a redesign project for the college’s website.

Stermer, a student at SCF, is new to graphic design after a career in the service industry. She decided to enroll in college because she had a desire to create. She plans to graduate in the spring.

“My internship brought together everything I have learned at SCF,” Stermer said. “I’m putting together everything I learned from my design, research and speech classes and applying it here in Communications and Marketing.”

Stermer spends her free time writing and designing a comic book. She hopes to eventually find a career in video game design and animation.
