SCF Faculty Lecture Promises Colorful Discussion

The Faculty Lecture Series at SCF will present "Beyond Perception: The Use of Color in a Visual World" at 2 p.m. Nov. 15.

The Faculty Lecture Series at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will present “Beyond Perception: The Use of Color in a Visual World” at 2 p.m. Nov. 15 in Building 29, Room 106 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Margy Rich, assistant professor of studio arts at SCF, will discuss her research interests encompassing
the interrelationship between color perception, digital technology and visual culture. A graduate of the Wharton School of Business and Savannah College of Arts and Design, Rich joined SCF in 2014 after her successful career as an executive vice president in marketing and advertising in New York. Her clients
included Fortune 100 companies such as Proctor & Gamble and General Mills.
