SCF Fall Flex Start Classes Offer Options for Any Schedule

Registration is open for State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) fall semester Flex Start classes, allowing students to take accelerated courses that fit their busy schedule. These classes are condensed versions of traditional 16-week class, offering the same knowledge and credits over shorter periods of time. Enrollment is open for 12-week, eight-week and five-week classes starting September 21, October 12 and 26.

Flex Start classes will be delivered on-campus and online, including Go Live with SCF Online, SCF’s new synchronous online learning option featuring live interaction with professors and classmates. The courses are offered at varying times, including evenings and weekends, to allow students the opportunity to learn whenever their schedule permits. Students can earn credits applicable to any of SCF’s Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, workforce certificates and bachelor’s degrees. Financial aid can be used for Flex Start classes.
